June 2010 Richaire – Catering for New Covent Garden. June has been another bumper month for orders at Richaire. The school refurbishment season has seen a number of old friends returning to Richaire, as well as many new customers. July and August are shaping up to be very busy months again this year. But it’s not just school work keeping Richaire busy, for example Sheringhams Catering Ltd., of New Covent Garden Market, are moving to larger units and have appointed Richaire to fit-out their new offices. Sheringham’s took advantage of space becoming available at extremely short notice and Richaire were able to produce a costed design within a few days. Having previously under taken work on a number of the market units, including Sheringhams old offices, Richaire are the ideal choice for market residents. Work is currently under way to revitalise the new offices with, new Invotek Monobloc partitions, Wood laminate flooring, new seating, fresh decorations, replacement ceiling tiles and modifications to the electrics and lighting. Despite a very demanding programme Richaire are on schedule to hand the completed offices over to Sheringham’s on time and to budget. May 2010 Richaire go back to school. Following last summers highly acclaimed refurbishment of the ground floor of the Pre-Prep block at CfTB's Oakfield Preparatory School in Dulwich, Richaire are delighted to announce that they have been re-appointed to refurbish the 1st and 2nd floors. The work, which is Phase 2 of a four-year programme, will be undertaken during the school's summer break. Richaire will be decorating a number of classrooms, laying carpet and vinyl floor, creating new children's toilets and installing new lighting. Richaire are looking forward to again working with Oakfield's inspirational Principal, John Gibson, to convert this imposing Victorian Villa into a centre of learning that the pupils can enjoy when they return for the autumn term. April 2010 Alexander Lloyd Recruit Richaire. When Crawley based, niche recruitment agency, Alexander Lloyd's lease was running out, they knew they wanted to remain in the same general location. It took a while for them to find suitable new offices and this meant a very tight programme for both fitting out the new office and the dilapidations on the old offices. That is when they turned to Richaire. Our flexible workforce immediately started on the dilapidations, working with and around the Alexander Lloyd's staff. At the same time the design layout of the new office was undertaken and rapidly agreed. Richaire will be installing a new meeting room, interview rooms, kitchens, breakout area and server room, all to be constructed using the Invotek Monobloc partitioning system. Alexander Lloyd will be moving into their new premises over the weekend 12/13th June and Richaire will then be able to complete the dilapidation work to the old offices March 2010 The season kicks off early. The school refurbishment season has started early for Richaire this year. Two new clients beat the usual summer rush by placing orders for work to be done over the Easter break. Richaire are delighted to announce that they are now registered with Constructionline the UK’s largest database of pre-qualified contractors. Constructionline, owned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, has a rigorous registration procedure that ensures that those companies included on its database meet all the pre-qualification requirements supported by BIS. Over 2000 public and private sector organisations regularly choose their contractors from those registered with Constructionline in the safe knowledge that they do not need to re-vet the selected contractor. Dec 2009 Happy Holidays Appropriately for the time of year Richaire have been appointed to install new suspended ceilings for Kensington Unitarian Church, work is scheduled to begin in the New Year. Richaire are proud to have been chosen by InterResolve to supply and fit Invotek partitions, power and data to their new offices in International House. These prestigous offices are located next to Tower Bridge and have superb views over St Katharines Dock. Amongst Richaire’s October orders, two standout. We have received an order for work at the Nigeria High Commission’s London Passport and Visa Section. The work includes new external security doors and replacing the existing customer service desks. The new desks will be complete with a DDA compliant section, speech system, induction loop and a state of the art ticketing / queuing system. The Crawley based transport, haulage and storage company Eezehaul, has again chosen to work with Richaire. This time to construct the office accommodation for their new Warehouse complex close to Gatwick Airport. Work will start in mid November and will be finished before Christmas, enabling the client to start the New Year in the new location. Sept 2009 Designs on Central London. A review of our business has resulted in the decision to create a new Central London sales area. With many major companies headquartered in this area requiring prestigious premises, sales here will now be handled directly by our Design Director, Marina Christou. Marina has wide experience in creating contemporary and traditional designs and aims to expand sales in Central London, especially in the Hotel sector. Aug 2009 Richaire have the "wow factor". August was a busy month at Richaire. Whilst teachers, parents and pupils were enjoying their summer break we were busy completing refurbishment projects in no fewer than eight schools. We are pleased to report that all work was completed on time and on budget. On the first day of term the only word heard from a number of pupils viewing their new environment was "wow".... they say from the mouths of babes. July 2009 Richaire School Reunion. Four of Richaire's past school customers have returned to us this summer for new projects, proving our ability to deliver to our client's satisfaction. Richard Challoner School was so delighted with the Invotek75 fully glazed partitions we installed in their Reception that they are to have another run of offices installed once term is finished. Richaire will also be decorating, carpeting and supplying furniture for the newly created offices. Having already installed a new reception at Wallington High School for Girls Richaire were invited to tender for work to the schools rear reception area. Richaire is delighted to have secured this work which will be commenced at the end of July. Following the much-admired Richaire design for Brighton University's reception, the University has returned to Richaire for the third time for additional hanging display units. The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), the world's leading dance examinations board, has again turned to Richaire to fit-out a floor of their building. All four of these projects are scheduled to be completed this summer. June 2009 Further 'signs' of Summer June has seen Richaire securing further School Refurbishment Projects. Notable amongst them are two new clients Forestdale Primary School in Croydon and Oakfield Preparatory School in Dulwich. At Forestdale, Richaire will be enlarging the current Reception Office by dismantling the existing front partition wall. A new stud partition wall will be erected to increase the area of the room. The new wall will include a glazed sliding enquiry window with glazed panels either side. The new office and the adjoining hallway will then be redecorated. This project is due to commence as soon as the school breaks up for the summer holidays. Oakfield Preparatory School is part of the CfBT Education Trust, a long established education consultancy and service organisation. Richaire has secured three contracts that are part of a major programme of summer works that CfBT are undertaking at the school. Richaire has been awarded contracts to redecorate and floor a kitchen, supply and install Invotek partitions in the Upper School and for a major refurbishment of the Lower School nursery facilities. Richaire’s tradesmen will be moving in when the school term ends in mid July and different teams will be engaged on each project. The kitchen should be quickly completed. The work in the Upper School will include a creating a new inner entrance lobby from frameless glass partitions and creating new offices in the administration suite with double glazed and solid Invotek75 monobloc partitions. Work in the lower school revolves around refurbishing two nursery rooms and their associated ‘quiet’ rooms. Existing toilets are to be demolished and new nursery child facilities installed featuring bright colours and friendly animal murals on cubicle doors. Two further existing WC’s are to be refurbished, one to include baby-changing facilities, a new library and offices are to be created and with fresh decorations, new flooring and lighting. Principal John Gibson said ' I have particularly enjoyed working with the interior designer to ensure that aesthetically the new spaces look absolutely superb!' These exciting new rooms will be ready when the children return in September. May 2009 The first 'signs' of Summer With the arrival of May Richaire has started filling up the Summer order book with School Refurbishment Projects. One of the first to sign up was Pardes House Primary School in Finchley, North London. Richaire are to convert an office area into a Reception and Boardroom. The two areas are to be separated by a fully glazed partition, the manifestation will feature the schools name in both Roman and Hebrew script. Work to be undertaken includes dismantling, new partitioning, ceilings, lighting, decorating, flooring, reception desk, A/V wall, Boardroom Table and seating. Work is to start immediately and is expected to be completed before the end of term. Richaire has also signed three contracts with Worthing High School, for work to be carried out during the summer holidays. Richaire will be completely refurbishing the existing reception area, converting an existing science classroom into a new IT classroom and converting another classroom and associated storage rooms into an IT suite. The IT suite will feature custom built ‘flip-top' computer desk clusters. In addition, on entering this prestigious room visitors will find a new reception desk, a breakout area and attractive carpet designs. April 2009 Richaire keeping up the standards Richaire completed a number of projects in April and all our clients were impressed with our work. A couple of examples... Peak Marketing employed Richaire to fit out their new offices in Cheam. We constructed an office, meeting room, kitchenette/breakfast bar and carried out complete decoration. Marilyn Tea of Peak Marketing e mailed to say "All is looking good at the new office. THANK YOU. Please also pass on our thanks to all at Richaire and their contractors for doing such a great job". We wish Peak Marketing every success in their new premises. Web TV Enterprise in Oxford Street used Richaire to construct their new meeting Room. Mike Roberts of Web TV wrote to say "Thanks very much for your help with our meeting room. Your guys were speedy and efficient...and the finished room looks great".
March 2009 Richaire spot on at Square One Richaire aim to provide first class customer service for all their projects be they large or small. This month a small partitioning project at Square One in London was completed over two weekends. October 2008 Local company awards project to Richaire Simon Storage, based in Redhill, have selected Richaire to refurbish their Offices and Boardroom. August 2008 Kier appoint Richaire to build new storage mezzanine Richaire have been awarded a contract to construct a new storage mezzanine for Kier Islington. The mezzanine will be fitted with various types of shelving to store both large and small fitments and access will be via a Part K staircase and a Part M staircase. July 2008 Local schools select Richaire for summer refurbishment programme Three local educational establishments have employed Richaire during the summer break. A new mezzanine floor has been installed at Reigate College in the Performing Arts department for storing props. Reigate school have new suspended ceilings and lighting in a number of classrooms and partitioning was provided for Reigate St. Marys in Chart Lane. May 2008 MFM chose Richaire to transform new Enfield premises May has seen an unusual project awarded to Richaire - the transformation of an unoccupied 2-storey industrial unit into a place of worship for the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. The current bare block walls and concrete floors and ceilings will all be concealed with suspended ceilings, carpets and dry lining. All the wc facilities will be completely replaced and the mechanical and electrical services will be renewed. Full air conditioning will be fitted to provide a comfortable meeting place and re-decoration throughout will result in a colourful and cheerful venue for the local community to enjoy. Work has already commenced and the "metamorphosis" is anticipated to be complete by the end of July. April 2008 Antram delighted with Richaire clean up operation A burst water main flooding into your offices would be a disaster for any company and when the existing wood flooring at Antram Pemberton in Brighton began to resemble the swell of the winter waves rather than a mill pond Richaire were called in to provide the solution. The damaged floor not only posed a trip hazard but the water ingress could also have been a health issue. Richaire carried out temporary repairs within 24 hours then, once the offices were vacated, the partitions were taken down, the flooring was removed and heavy duty de-humidifiers were brought in to dry the area. New Karndean flooring was then laid throughout, the area was re-decorated and new partitions were installed - all within 3 weeks. February 2008 Richaire fit out prestigious Beauty Treatment Rooms Richaire have won the contract to fit out 12 high class beauty treatment rooms at the prestigious Stoke Park Hotel Spa in Stoke Poges. Stoke Park was the setting for Bond films Goldfinger and Tomorrow Never Dies as well as Bridget Jones Diary and numerous other films. The building dates back to 1555 and provides a historical setting for the state of the art Beauty Treatment Rooms which include Traxon lighting, bespoke glass and stainless steel cabinetry, Amtico flooring and leather effect wall coverings. www.stokepark.com January 2008 Richaire awarded SAE Institute contract Richaire are delighted to be the successful partitioning contractors for the new SAE Institute Degree Centre in Oxford. This is set to be the world's biggest technology school and occupies more than 8500 square metres of the beautiful Littlemore Park building. The open plan office space was divided into a conference room and open-plan office areas using Invotek Glasswall, providing a contemporary look whilst maintaining the light, airy feel of the area. Richaire also provided built-in storage wall cupboards, a bespoke audio visual unit, new desks and seating. The work was completed to schedule before the Christmas shut-down. November 2007 Richaire wins contract with UK's largest bicycle manufacturer Richaire have been appointed to carry out extensive refurbishment work at the Brentford premises of innovative folding bicycle makers Brompton Bicycle. Works will include the installation of a large mezzanine floor housing a brand new canteen together with additional washroom facilities and upgraded offices. The works will be phased between January and March 2008 to ensure minimal disruption to the client's manufacturing process. October 2007 Complete re-fit at our Redhill offices Despite a busy workload we have finally found time to carry out our own refurbishment project! September 2007 Record Sales Richaire achieved record sales for the year during September. Contracts secured include a large mezzanine floor for Creative Technology in Crawley and a smaller storage platform for CMS in Farnborough. In addition we have been awarded the contract to provide a complete transformation of the Reception Area at Generics in Potters Bar. Work on the above projects will take place in the final quarter. Summer 2007 Busy Summer at Richaire Richaire are having another busy summer working in the education sector. Obviously the six week break is a perfect time for schools to implement their refurbishment programmes and Richaire have been involved in a number of different projects for Bellemoor School Southampton, Frittenden Primary in Kent, Smallberry Green Primary Isleworth, Reigate School, The School of Economic Science and The Great Ormond Street Hospital School. Works range from additional storage cupboards to the complete refurbishment of canteens, halls and class rooms. May 2007 Richaire have completed another quick turnaround for Camberley based travel firm Ideal Holidays. The company were due to move into their new premises at the end of May and despite only contacting us in early May we have managed to construct new partitioned offices, carpets and vinyl flooring and completely re-decorated the area, on time and within budget. In an excellent sales month Richaire have also secured contracts with assisted living home builders McCarthy and Stone to refurbish their 1st Floor offices at Byfleet, Nestle Purina Petcare to re-decorate their reception area at New Malden and Biwater in Dorking to construct a new office and fit Air Conditioning....amongst others. April 2007 The staff at Air France were delighted to be greeted on a Monday morning with new flooring in their Canteen, laid by Richaire over a single weekend. The flooring included a mixture of vinyl and carpet tiles. Air France Representative Dominick Dumanoir told us she was very impressed with the work saying" the quality of the work done by your staff is outstanding. The vinyl part is perfect as well as the carpet". March 2007 Byfleet based international couriers The Wey Group have selected Richaire to fit out their new premises. Work will include a mezzanine floor with offices below and storage above, additional toilet facilities, a mesh security cage and a full new heating, cooling and ventilation system. The project will commence in April and completion is expected by the end of May 2007. January 2007 Local Solicitors Morrisons were delighted to start the New Year in their newly fitted out Wimbledon offices. Richaire provided new carpeting throughout, a range of storage wall cupboards for legal document storage, Invotek partitions creating confidential meeting rooms and a welcoming Reception Area. October 2006 Richaire are pleased to be working with renowned local agents Stiles Harold Williams during their move to new premises on the 7th Floor of 69 Park Lane, Croydon Surrey. The impressive glass building is prominently situated next to The Fairfield Halls and has views across Croydon and beyond. The project includes the construction of Meeting Rooms, a Kitchen and Post Room, new carpet throughout, a state of the art Reception desk with plasma screen and corporate signage. September 2006 Richaire have secured the contract to fit out the new Sittingbourne premises for the PB Group, pending their move from Rochester. Works will include a large mezzanine floor housing offices, meeting rooms and design studios. Products to be installed include partitioning, ceilings, racking, carpets and substantial electrical and mechanical services. The project is due for completion by Christmas 2006. August 2006 Leading international medical technology group Elekta have awarded Richaire the contract to install new ceilings and lighting thoughtout two floors of one of their buildings in Crawley, Sussex. The proposed lighting is energy efficient and operated by PIR sensors. This will save the company money in the long term and as well as providing staff with good lighting levels, current energy-saving recommendations will be achieved. July 2006 Richaire have virtually completed the refurbishment of a number of offices at new Covent Garden for Sheringhams. The units which had previously been unoccupied for a number of years have benefitted from silver grey fully glazed dividing partition walls with integral silver blinds and cherry doors, a cherry wood floor throughout and new lighting. Richaire have also supplied new furniture and black leather seating. The transformation will soon be complete with the fitting of maroon window blinds bearing the Sheringhams logo and oriental style furniture for the Boardroom and Managing Director's office. July 2006 Following on in the education theme, but with a definite "musical" twist Richaire are delighted to have been awarded the contract to re-furbish two floors in Kilburn for The Guitar Institute, pending their move at the end of August. Richaire have been "instrumental" in achieving a funky design together with giving careful consideration to the acoustic properties of the areas created. The layout which includes three Performance Studios constructed using Gyproc Audio wall with IAC steel doors will also house more conventional offices, a staff area, Tech Suite and teaching rooms. June 2006 Richaire are pleased to announce a record June largely due to a number of contracts being placed in the education sector for completion during the summer holidays. These include: Wallington High School, Wallington Surrey - Pupils will be greeted on their return in Septmber by a brand new Reception Area complete with silicone jointed glass screens bearing the school logo, bespoke timber enquiry windows, plush carpeting, contemporary lighting and the smell of fresh paint! Uxbridge College, Uxbridge Middlesex- Working consecutively in two areas Richaire will re-vamp the main college server room and create a suite of 4 new classrooms plus staff facilities. The works include new carpets, complete decoration, Invotek partitions, controlled lighting and air conditioning to achieve spaces that are a pleasure to learn in. May 2006 Richaire are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the contract for the fit out of a brand new high quality dental practice in Twickenham, Middlesex. Simply Dental will have nothing in common with the average dental practice. Instead patients will be greeted by soft lighting, subtle furnishings, an aquarium, state of the art AV equipment for playing films & music as well as training purposes and even a well-stocked fridge! Construction of the rooms and new contemporary-style toilets has already begun and work is expected to be completed in July. April 2006 With the 2012 Olympics in mind and in their effort to provide a "Local Service" to our many clients in the Northern Home Counties and particularly to the City of London, Richaire have appointed John Massiah as Project Consultant. The Reception is to be given a completely new "coffee shop" feel in line with Kates Cakes delicious brands. Using soft chocolate and tangy orange colours, works will include a new Reception desk, soft seating, decoration and vinyl flooring in two tone maple and cherry, incorporating the Kates Cakes logo. The project has been planned in minute detail to ensure that the Reception is closed for the least possible time. To complete the new look, Richaire have selected a virtual maple tree, Kates Cakes corporate logo on the glass partition and Italiano Foliage wall coverings from the Muraspec range. March 2006 Richaire are pleased to have been awarded the contract to upgrade and alter the Graphics Studio at Creative Technology in Crawley, West Sussex. Works include re-arranging the existing Legno partitioning system and air conditioning plus the installation of additional power supplies. February 2006 The Project Manager and Staff at Software AG were so impressed with the quality and speed with which Richaire completed their 2nd Floor offices that they have asked us to carry straight on with the re-design and fit-out of their 1st floor Offices. Work has already commenced to replace the existing partitioning with the Solare silicone jointed system, re-carpet and re-decorate throughout. A new colour scheme has been devised and completion is due by 10th March, 2006. January 2006 Richaire have started 2006 with a bang by being awarded a major re-fit contract for the 2nd Floor Executive suite at Software AG in Bracknell. November 2005 Richaire are delighted to have won the contract to re-fit the Old Block at Kemsing Primary School near Sevenoaks in Kent. The area which is currently used for storage will be converted into new offices for the Head Teacher and Admin Staff, an IT Room and modern toilet facilities including disabled. The work will commence late in November and Staff are looking forward to using their new facilities early in the New Year. October 2005 Despite stiff competition Richaire were the successful bidders to fit out the new HQ of Mansard Country Homes in Bookham, Surrey. The contract comprises three floors of Avanti Legno timber partitioning and OWA suspended ceilings. The Ground and First Floors will have a range of Light Oak solid and glass partitions, whilst the Executive Suite on the Second Floor will be in Cherry. Completion is anticipated by the end of November. September 2005 Trident Expansion Trident Microsystems, based in Salfords, Surrey have awarded Richaire the contract to create a brand new Production and Office area as part of their expansion. Works will include solid and glazed partitioning, suspended ceilings, air conditioning and electrical works. Trident are at the forefront of computer technology and Richaire are pleased to have won a local contract from a global corporation. August 2005 Christ's College are certainly heeded their motto by placing an order with Richaire to upgrade three of their Science Laboratories. Works included new suspended ceilings, lighting, non slip flooring, power, data and chemical resistant plumbing equipment. The order was not placed until late July but Richaire pulled out all the stops to complete ready for the new school year in September. Debra Griffiths, Facilities Manager for the school said "I was very impressed with the response I received, especially considering that Richaire were approached after the summer holidays had already commenced. The help and support I received from everyone at Richaire was excellent and my project was completed on time and within budget". July 2005 Two weeks after moving into their new building housing both offices and cold store facilities, the client expressed his delight with the work carried out by Richaire. June 2004 This was achieved with a mezzanine floor with laboratory areas below and offices above. Richaire handled the whole project including the installation of air conditioning, new windows, external cladding, specialist flooring to the laboratory areas, lighting and power distribution. |
